Site Construction Scheduler (Contracted thru Spear Group, GA)
Perform as Site Construction Scheduler on a AQCS (Air Quality Control System) under the Engineering
and Construction Services Group at Southern Company for Georgia Power. The project as based at one
of Southern Company plants which operates four generating units for a total of 3200 MW output. The
project consisted of the installation of four (4) FGD Scrubbers (Flue Gas Desulfurization for SO2 Control),
four (4) SCR’s (Selective Catalytic Reduction for NOx Control), and four (4) Baghouses (Hg Control)
technologies. Planned and implemented project timelines and work schedules for the mechanical and
electrical (including instrumentation, communications, and distributed control systems or DCS) disciplines
throughout the project using Primavera 6. Also developed start-up schedule for the project. Estimated
cost for this project was around three billion dollars. Perform cost analysis including review of accounting
data, producing, documenting and reporting results and trends to the management. Develop and present
performance curves, bulk quantity installation curves, and earned value curves to management.
Participate on company wide implementation and rollout of Primavera P6 and Maximo/Primavera
